DISCLAIMER: ALL CHARACTERS APPEARING IN THIS WORK ARE FICTITIOUS. ANY RESEMBLANCE TO REAL PERSONS, LIVING OR DEAD, IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL.

First Person To Be Stalked: BRIAN EWART. (nice name)

Brian Ewart, likely middle aged, dresses smart in a biege suit. He seems to be of authority from the way he dresses and the way he walks. However, he looks as if he is in a hurry. He steps into the hawker centre looking around for something or somebody. As he walks further down the path, he notices an old cleaner and approaches him. He starts a conversation with the elder man. He seems to be asking for directions, most likely to a particular food stall to find a colleague or friend waiting nearby. After a brief conversation, Brian Ewart walks to the other side of the hawker centre with the elderly worker directing him.

Second Person To Be Stalked: KUN LAM.

Kun Lam, likely middle aged, is dressed in a pink shirt and grey bermudas. He is sitting alone at a table in a hawker centre. He seems to be using his laptop to do his work. He may have been there for quite some time already as he seems bored by the way he keeps looking around at his surroundings every time he types for a short while. He even fiddles with his hand phone every now and then. Upon closer inspection, he seems to be using Facebook, likely due to boredom. He may have planned to do his assignments or work while waiting for a certain time to arrive before going off but gave up due to boredom. He may be awaiting his friends to arrive though. He seems like an impatient man as he constantly checks his watch every now and then with an annoyed face.

What would Brian Ewart do to Kun Lam to provoke him or her to an extreme action? Write a story about the two people based on that question (go with the most extreme conflict between the two that you can think of and how one provokes the other into it).

As Brian Ewart wonders aimlessly around the hawker centre looking for his colleagues, he accidentally knocked over a cup of lime juice that Kun Lam was drinking, onto the latter’s laptop.

“WHAT THE HELL MAN!?”, Kun Lam exclaimed. The laptop seemed to make a groaning sound and shuts down abruptly just as Kun Lam was about to save his five-thousand word project. “That is not my fault, dear sir. It was your fault for placing that drink in that position in the first place!”, Brian replied in a cool way, before turning his back on Kun Lam.

Before Brian could take three steps away from the table, Kun Lam, as swift as a monkey on fire, grabs Brian by the back of his neck and smashes his head onto the nearby wall. Brian groaned in pain as he bled profusely. As Kun Lam was about to hit Brian with a nearby chair, Brian quickly charges into Kun Lam with all his might. The two fall into a glass panel and it breaks. The two men fight in midair as they fell 3 storeys down the building.

At the last moment, Brian manages to get Kun Lam below him before hitting the ground. Kun Lam’s head hits first onto the ground and his skull breaks. Brian manages to survive but was charged with man slaughter a few weeks later in court.

I would’ve liked to have seen more detailed descriptions of the people as well as more insight into why they were the way they were based on their appearances and actions.
